Paul Harvey was a journalist, commentator and a salesman. In this radio tribute broadcast shortly after his death, Paul is heard extolling the virtues, challenges and importance of good salesmanship for worthwhile products and services. Mentioned as exemplary salesmen are Sears, Roebuck, Wrigley, Billy Graham, Abe Lincoln, Gary Cooper, George Peabody, Arthur Godfrey and James Cash Penney.     I, too, heard this decades ago and liked it so much that I wrote to ABC in Chicago asking for a transcript of it. I never heard back from them so was especially excited (as a semi-retired, middle-aged lifetime salesman) to discover it here on YouTube. bctvguy-you made my day…thanks a million!
